How to use a garbage disposal correctly

Preparation: Remove the sink stopper, turn on the water faucet, and then switch on the power to start the motor.

Feeding Garbage: Pour food waste into the feed opening, allowing the disposer and water flow to operate continuously for a period (typically 25-35 seconds) to ensure complete grinding.

Rinsing and Shutdown: After processing, do not immediately turn off the water faucet. Instead, run water for an additional 10-15 seconds to flush any residual food waste into the drainpipe. Then, turn off both the water and power.
Precautions
● The grinding efficiency of the disposer is influenced by the size of the sink hole, so consider the diameter when making a purchase.
● Large food waste should be broken into smaller pieces before being fed into the disposer.
● Avoid grinding hard shells (like clam or oyster shells), metal, fabric, strong corrosive or irritant chemicals, or other items that could damage the disposer.
